Byte.Collino once again competed in one of the most important and symbolic events on the international iRacing calendar: the World 600, contested in both Fixed and Open formats. Directly inspired by NASCAR’s legendary Coca-Cola 600, the event represents one of the most demanding and prestigious endurance challenges in both real-world motorsport and professional simracing.

The Coca-Cola 600, held at Charlotte Motor Speedway since 1960, is considered one of the cultural landmarks of American motorsport. Its virtual counterpart within iRacing preserves that same spirit through lengthy races, maximum concentration, strategic execution, constant traffic management, and the physical and mental endurance required over hundreds of laps at extreme speeds.
The 2026 edition featured 924 drivers distributed across 26 splits, once again confirming the World 600 as one of the largest and most significant special events in global simracing.
The team’s best performance came from Octavio Rondoletto, who secured a 13th-place finish in the Top Split Prime Time session while competing against some of the world’s best NASCAR and iRacing specialists.
Meanwhile, Lucas Davila delivered a strong P18 finish in Split 3, while Lautaro Gayoso was forced to retire following an incident that ended his race early in Split 8.

The event was broadcast live through iRacing’s official channel and reached approximately 9,100 viewers, reaffirming the sustained global growth of interest in endurance oval racing within simracing.
Byte.Collino’s continued participation in events of this caliber further strengthens the team’s international positioning within the North American oval racing scene — one of the most competitive and culturally significant sectors of the iRacing ecosystem.
