With the power unit provided by Ford Performance already in place, the collaborative project between Collino and Maipú Garage is progressing steadily. Beppy Collino oversees every technical detail of this pickup truck, which combines brutal power and refined classic style.
The F100 pickup truck officially unveiled at Agroactiva 2025 in front of thousands of people in the heart of the countryside was just the starting point. Today, the project is taking shape on the workbench with Beppy measuring, adjusting, and talking quietly to the metal.
“We have already presented the fourth-generation Coyote engine on our F100 chassis,” explained Beppy while working on the design of the mounts. The main objective is to achieve an installation that does not alter the original flame arrestor. “We placed it as low and as far back as possible, close to the cab. We are looking for balance and high performance,” he summarizes.
This technical challenge is no small feat. Ensuring that the modern engine fits with millimeter precision into the original engine compartment—without cutting or modifying the factory aesthetics—is part of the spirit of this prototype. A construction with a competitive spirit achieved without sacrificing heritage.
With the engine mounts already dotted, the next step is the box mount. Then comes the assembly of the cabin, and the final verification of key adjustments such as the steering column, exhausts, and other details that make up the final tune-up.
At Collino, we see this project as a statement of intent: a bridge between the tradition of national mechanics and high-performance developments. A classic F100 that retains its silhouette but breathes with the power of the latest generation of Ford Performance engines, a 10-speed gearbox, and contemporary engineering components. State-of-the-art chassis and suspension by Collino complete the equation.
We will soon share more updates on this collaboration, which promises to be one of the most powerful projects of the year.
