Modern drivetrain for real performance use

This complete double CV axle kit was developed to solve one of the main limitations of the Fiat 600 when performance levels are increased: reliably and efficiently transmitting power to the ground.

Designed for sport street use, track days, hill climb and race cars, this system fully replaces the original solutions, providing a much stronger, smoother and more predictable drivetrain, even under demanding conditions.

This is not a partial adaptation. It is a fully engineered system, intended as a solid foundation for serious performance-oriented builds.

Why double CV joints?

Using double constant velocity joints on each axle allows:

  • Smooth and constant power delivery without jerks

  • Reduced vibrations and unwanted drivetrain stress

  • Proper operation even at large working angles

  • Significantly improved durability compared to conventional rubber coupler systems, which offer very limited strength and service life

The result is a drivetrain that works with the chassis and suspension, instead of becoming a weak link in the system.

Installation considerations

  • Installation requires the use of special CV boots, designed for this system

  • When used with original rear control arms, the following modifications are required:

    • Slight widening of the “U” section where the wheel-side CV boot passes

    • Slight enlargement of the bore where the wheel hub carrier seats, as its diameter is marginally larger than stock

The kit also includes a set of spacer washers that allow compatibility with original drum brake systems.
However, the use of disc brake systems is strongly recommended to fully exploit the capabilities of the drivetrain.
