Collino Goes to the New Products Showcase at SEMA 2025
The new Nascar-Spec Collino Veloce NSC steering wheel will make its world debut inside the New Products Showcase at SEMA Show 2025.
Designed and manufactured in Argentina, the NSC represents the latest evolution of Collino’s Veloce line — a range focused on innovation, driver ergonomics, and motorsport-grade reliability.
Approved by NASCAR, the NSC was tested in competition by Argentine driver Baltazar Leguizamón at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in 2024, where it proved its strength, precision, and control under extreme racing conditions.
Technical Features
- Available in 13”, 14”, and 15” diameters (330 mm, 355 mm, 380 mm) to fit multiple cockpit geometries and racing categories.
- Integrated anti-impact center that absorbs energy for enhanced driver protection.
- HexaGrip texture — an exclusive hexagonal micro-pattern developed by Collino to maximize grip, comfort, and precision feedback, even with gloves or in high-temperature conditions.
- Adjustable paddle-shifter mount for fine-tuning paddle position according to driver preference and steering angle.
- Built-in radio command system, operated directly from the left paddle, allowing the driver to communicate without lifting the thumb from the steering spoke.
This unique ergonomic design enables the driver to maintain full steering control with the left hand while transmitting on the radio, even in the middle of high-speed maneuvers.
Whether cornering, defending position, or managing pit-lane communication, the NSC lets the driver speak over the radio and shift gears simultaneously, keeping both control and focus — a detail that makes a true difference in endurance and oval racing, where timing and consistency are everything.
Engineering & Design Origin
The NSC was conceived and prototyped at Collino’s engineering center in Argentina, combining CNC-machined materials, premium leather, advanced aluminum alloys, and precision-molded polymers.
Each unit is hand-assembled and individually tested under the same standards applied to Collino’s professional racing simulator division, Formula Sim, ensuring mechanical precision, tactile consistency, and long-term durability.
