Byte.Collino took a key step in its sporting development by officially presenting its international high-performance Sim Racing team and competing in INFINITY by VCO, one of the most demanding events on the global calendar.
The team presentation took place at Collino’s headquarters in Sunchales, where around 80 people experienced the event from the inside. During the day, attendees enjoyed six simulators equipped with state-of-the-art technology, taking part in races on different entertainment platforms and getting an up-close look at how the team operates.
At the same time, Byte.Collino played a leading role in INFINITY by VCO, an extreme competition made up of 24 consecutive races in 24 hours, featuring organizations representing top-tier international brands and teams such as BMW, Porsche, Williams, and Max Verstappen’s team.
To compete in the event, the team consisted of four drivers, two of whom raced from Collino’s headquarters in Sunchales, using Collino.Sim Pro rigs, pedal sets, and steering wheels specially adapted for the competition. It was a true all-around test: for the drivers, the technical team, and the manager, as well as for the hardware, subjected to demands comparable to major endurance races.
The day had all the characteristics of a long-duration competition: improvised meals, short breaks between stints, constant tension, and a steady flow of people following the action both virtually and in person at the facilities. It is not common for a sim racing team to compete from the same location—much less from the heart of the province of Santa Fe—facing the leading European organizations. It was, without a doubt, an epic experience.
From a sporting perspective, the results were more than positive. The team fought for podium positions, achieved three Top 5 finishes and five Top 10 finishes, and placed 31st in the overall standings. They also stood out in the final race, where the Byte.Collino team battled for the lead from start to finish. It was an unforgettable finale.
The competition was won by Team Redline (Max Verstappen’s team), followed by Coanda Esports (official Porsche team) and BS Competition (official BMW team).
The conclusion is clear: Byte.Collino proved that it is possible to compete at the highest global level from Argentina, with its own drivers, technicians, and components.
